The parkCulture ART Prize 2012 is now open for you to enter.

THE PRIZE

The winner will receive a cash prize of £100 and a professionally printed and framed copy of their painting.  In addition, their work will be published in parkCulture Magazine along with a write up about the winning artist.

Two runners up will also have their painting published in parkCulture Magazine and both the winner and runner’s up will be invited to attend an awards evening hosted by Cultura Press Ltd

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for art in any style – realism, contemporary, portrait, abstract – paint in any style on any subject that catches YOUR imagination!

There is no age restriction, but all entrants must live or work within the New Forest National Park or within 5 miles of it’s boundary.

The competition is open to both professional and amateur artists.

The competition is open for entries between 1st August 2012 and 21st October 2012.

Paintings must be the original work of the entrant and by entering you agree that you hold the full rights and ownership of the work.

By entering the competition you agree that your work may be published by parkCulture Magazine in their printed publication and on the websites and pages of Cultura Press.

please note:  in this instance, we use the term ‘art’ to mean a painted image.  photography will not be eligible.  unfortunately, installation, sculpture, ceramics and other art forms are not eligible for entry in this competition, but we will look at ways to celebrate and reward artists in these and other art forms in the future.
