Hi There!

The new Art Bars are water-soluble so you could use watercolour paper in a NOT surface if you like a bit of sparkle in your pictures or Hot Pressed if you do not want any white showing; if you are using them for a scraffito (or Sgraffito) effect and you were concerned about damaging expensive Hot Pressed paper for this effect you could use the heavy weight Cartridge paper.

Any of these papers should bring up the desired effect.
