I just wanted to let you know about an Art Auction Website that I have found and have been using to sell my paintings.

It is Totally Free to list your paintings.
You can upload images of your paintings.
You can set a reserve price.
You can set a buy out price.
You can pick how long your auction will run for.

The site is open to ALL artists and when you painting sells, the site only takes 2% of the sale price as a final auction fee and 10% of that goes to charity.

I sold an acrylic for £80 and the site took £1.60?? What a deal!

All my friends in the art group are using the site and it has become a first place to go to to buy and sell art.

I just wanted to let everyone know about it as I think all artists that do not know where to go to sell their art will now get a chance to show the world their talents.

That sounds good Valerie. I'll have to give that a go some time. I find it hard to get good photographs of my paintings though especially once glazed.

Hi Rosemary.
It is hard to photograph paintings onced glazed. I tend not to use glass for my framed acrylics. I feel that it brings the paint closer to the viewer. I tend to photograph my paintings outside when there is a little cloud cover. I feel it really brings out the colours of the artwork.
I really like the charity aspect of the site plus the fact that it cost nothing to list your work.
