Hi all, As a Tutor who runs her own Painting Holidays I am wishing to hear form anyone who has been on a painting holiday. I constantly try to improve the service I offer and need feedback either positive or negative about your experiences on painting holidays. What do you expect? What did you like best? What did you dislike? Value for money? Suggestions? Hopefully this discussion will help all painting holiday tutors and guests. Thanks, Sue

i expect comfortable accomodation, good food, a host who encourages interaction within the group. atutro who encourages each artsit on her own journey, not expecting them to be clones of the instructor. the emphasis on apinting .. not a lot of sight seeing. on the course si have been on the groups works very hard, concemtrating on their work.. mos toften on site.. not painting from photographs , if weather inclement good studio to work from sketches. small group so get good attention m deans

Thank you Margaret for this feedback! I constantly learn from my own students what works and what doesn't on a painting holiday, but always try to help each individual achieve their goals. Smaller groups are so much easier for everyone I have found!
