I have recently bought a number of Griffin Alkyd quick drying oils and I'm VERY impressed. I don't think I will go back to ordinary oils - or acrylics again. What I'd like to know though is - when do you varnish pictures painted with them? And with what sort of varnish? Paintings done with ordinary oils need to dry at least 6 months before they are varnished but I would think the time lapse is much shorter with the quick drying oils? Has anyone else had any experience of them or any tips and advice they can give?
