I am having trouble painting bubbles rising from the seabed to the surface. Any advice would be most welcome. I am painting in watercolour. Many Thanks in anticipation, Walt.

Hi Walter, Mix a wet mix of the colour of your bubbles ultramarine etc. Then a use for those little plastic tubes that protect a new brush. put the tube vertically into the mix and then put your finger over the other end. Lift off the mix and place onto the picture in the desired spot. Lift your finger from the other end and you'll drop a semi-circle of paint onto the paper.[ just like using a pipette tube in chemistry ]. Now with a clean damp brush probe into the blob of paint and you'll draw most of it off the paper. Eventually you'll be left with just the ring of paint at the edge of the blob. If you need it now create a primary highlight on the bubble by scratching out with a knife and you have a bubble.
