Can anyone recommend a book or DVD on painting with inks? Also, which paints do people find the best to use for this purpose? Any help would be appreciated.

I use fw inks they are brill. Use them very slightly diluted and they look just like watercolours. But of course you can paint straight over them when dry. Win Win.

Try pens, nibs and even twigs; traditional and Chinese brushes, pipettes and sprayers can all be used too. I would recommend starting with a very soft brush.Fond more at here http://www.artistsandillustrators.co.uk ... g-with-ink
