Do I need permission to exhibit/sell a painting done from the article "Try Your Hand At".

Hi Rosemary

Sorry nobody has got back to you - I am the membership Coordinator for the SAA. I do believe that you can sell copies of other peoples work as long as you do give recognition to the original artist.

When you sign your name at the bottom of your work you may want to put the original artists name too.

Don’t fall into the trap of saying that it is all your own work because this would be infringement.
