Recently when I've been driving my pictures to and fro exhibitions I've wondered what would happen if I had a collision and the glass/frames/paintings were damaged? I guess the exhibiting insurance wouldn't cover this nor my car insurance unless I pre-inform them about my valuble loads?

Hello Barbara, your paintings are covered in transit in your own car under the terms of the SAA membership paintings insurance as long as you are a member and have registered the pictures with us before the exhibition full details can be found at http://saa.co.uk/pdfs/Insurance_Guide.pdf and the value of cover depends on your level of membership. This sort of question can often be answered more quickly via email to SAA office customer.service@saa.co.uk

happy painting

John
