Hi kate, The rumour is true it doesn't cover 3d works. The best advice is contact 3 companies and select the most favourable quote, but it will probably be much closer to

I am with a group of artists who have hired out a crypt in a church for a group show. It hires out its crypt to artists all the time. Howeve, recently there has been a problem with needles being left on the grounds and the surrounding area of the church, but not in the crypt, which is the only bit of space we are hiring. The owners after taking our money, have given us a document they have put together (doesnt look legal) stating that any member of the public who is has an accident anywhere on the grounds is our responsibility and we should get public liability insurance we cant afford

most reputable insurance brokers should be able to put together some kind of package for you if you are clear about what your requirements are. I believe off the top of my head that I pay around £65.00 for a years coverage this gives me public liability and covers me for exhibiting my work at various events, I also think that there is a small payment for personal injury or death written into the policy also. My advice would be to speak to a high street broker and see what they can do.
