Hi Sheara, I am not a Bob Ross expert, so am sure others can answer better, but my opinion is that the SAA home shopping supply excellent materials at really good prices. Sometimes you can get drawn into buying a "name" at a greater cost, but the quality can be matched at a more reasonable price. Best wishes Helz www.helzbelzart.co.uk

Hi Sheara, as far as I am aware the SAA do not stock the Bob Ross materials at the moment. Contact me on royart2002@hotmail.com and I will provide you with details of stockists. Please also note we are running a Bob Ross painting holiday in Grange-over-Sands, Cumbria at the end of October 2006, details on www.roylart.co.uk Kind regards, Roy Johansen CRI CRFI CRWI

Hi Sheara, there are several things that you can use instead of Bob Ross products.Instead of gesso just use a good quality acrylic paint.Instead of liquid clear just use refined linseed oil, put in on VERY THINLY and use a good quality kitchen towel and wipe it off.Use bounty or tesco ultra, otherwise you will have bits left on the canvas. To make your own liquid white, mix titanium white oil paint with refined lindseed oil until you get a mixture that is like double cream.Keep it in a small screw top jar. I have used all these for the past 4 years with no trouble.I teach the wet on wet method in my classes called "Painting my Way" I use different brushes and techniques to Bob , but the effects are simalar.Take a look at my website www.paintingmyway.co.uk

Hi Sheara, I am Sue Warne from AyoubArt. I have a large supply of products that are suitable for the wet on wet technique, from landscape brushes right down to the script liner brushes. All my prices include postage and a complimentary instructional DVD worth
