Can you tell me the best colour to use for rose pink flowers? I was going to buy permanent rose but think it is too much like the alizarin crimson I already have. Rose madder seemed to be the alternative but I have been warned off this as being fugitive.
Thanks.

Hello Cromford! How about mixing a little Cadmium Orange into your Permanent Rose, and this should take a little of the Crimson shade away and make the colour a more vibrant red.

Lets know if this takes your colour in the right direction; if not we'll try again.

Best wishes,
