best paper to use for watercolour ( botanical ) where to buy then?

Hi Alex! I would suggest that for exacting and detailed botanical work, that you use the smoother Watercolour papers, and avoid the Rough surface, unless you are working more loosely.

Either buy this from SAA where there is a huge selection of Watercolour Papers or from your local art materials supplier.

I would suggest you buy a hot pressed paper, it is very smooth and perfect for botanical painting.x
