Paul Hi Mike,

Just to say that i really like your building pictures , reminds be of the style like lowrey, also like your cute animals .
i see you have sold quite a lot also , congratulations , its always good to sell.
I am an amateur experimenting with watercolour at the moment , feedback from your self would be good also , we all need encouragement from constructive comments , happy painting .

Michael Paul thanks for the reply, I really appreciated it. I do like your paintings they are really fresh looking. I particularly liked the Green fields and the Christmas scene. Try practicing with a larger brush than normal and practice drawing in your shapes with paint, it helps to bring out confidence in your painting. I am guessing that you have been painting with a small to medium sized brush (the texture in your green fields painting seems to indicate this-If I am wrong please accept my apologies) The effect of fully loading your brush with paint and allowing it to absorb into your painting makes for a more professional look, once mastered. Give it a try mate. Also a good exercise for painting trees is to load your brush with an olive green paint and drag from left to right and down and back again with the side of your brush, then whilst the paint is still wet, use a rigger brush to drag a few branches down from the colour to form a trunk.
