DESCRIPTION: A watercolour and mixed media painting holiday in Scarborough staying at Green Gables Hotel.
Green Gables is a spacious Victorian building on the outskirts of Scarborough, about 20 minutes walk from the South Cliff. It specialises in hosting education groups and conferences. There is also a heated indoor swimming pool.
All rooms are en-suite. There is no single room supplement. Accommodation is full board - breakfast, packed lunch and 3-course evening meal.
Our party will have exclusive use of one of the lounges for indoor painting, workshops and demos. In fine weather the daytime will be spent outdoors sketching and painting seascapes, beach scenes and places of interest around Scarborough. There will also be a day excursion by coach to paint at Whitby, Staithes or Robin Hood's Bay and a day at Castle Howard. Intensive art tuition, including evenings, and individual help and attention.
All levels of ability catered for. Beginners welcome. |
