Help others to enjoy painting!

With the SAA Bursary you can help
more people discover that painting is
much more than an enjoyable pastime,
it can help them relax, make new
friends, build their self confidence and
give them a sense of achievement.
The bursary can be used in any way that helps people get the most from their art, whether through local art groups, schools, hospitals, hospices or retirement homes or any other group that already exists or is formed for the purpose. One main winner will receive up to £500 worth of art materials to enable them to teach and inspire others to paint, and further funds will be allocated to runners up.
Anyone can apply and you don't need previous teaching experience, you just have to show you can fill others with enthusiasm, inspiration and to help them learn to paint.
The winner will receive SAA Gold Membership for one year which will entitle them to third party civil liability under the SAA's insurance policy. They will also be asked to report back to the SAA about their project during the year to keep us up to date with all of the inspiring and valuable work they are doing.
The SAA Bursary is only open to SAA members, if you are not already a member, please call us on 0800 980 1123 and ask for membership details.
