As is usual with this series, each scene comes with a pre-drawn tracing and comprehensive step-by-step instructions so that you can have the vacation of a lifetime without even leaving your armchair.
In the DVDs Geoff paints two of the pictures from the book in full, from start to finish. The first covers the Tuscan hill farm, for which the book has a full step-by-step demonstration and the second shows the frontispiece of a terrace view over Taormina in Sicily, for which there is a tracing but no demonstration.
Geoff's warm and confident approach gets your attention from the start and he is patient and thorough in his explanations. He tells you both what he is doing and why he is doing it at all stages, demonstrating techniques such as the use of masking fluid, wet-in-wet, graduated washes and the all-important colour mixing.
Whatever weather the summer brings, you can rely on Geoff to provide sunshine all the way!
Please note this DVD title is only available in PAL format and therefore is unlikely to play in North America, Japan, South Korea and some of the Pacific Islands.
However, all DVDs will play on personal computers and laptops.
