This DVD by up and coming artist Matthew Palmer covers the three main areas that some people find most difficult to paint in watercolour paintings…skies, trees and water. Divided into a series of lessons this DVD is designed as a companion to you as you paint.

Matthew's teaching style is exciting and easy to follow as he first covers some of the basics and demonstrates how to paint people using masking fluid. In the first project Matthew shows you how to paint an atmospheric seascape with a cloudy sky, showing you just how easy it is to create fluffy clouds and cast shadows on a quiet beach. He then moves onto paint an autumn river landscape where he shows you how to add depth and ripples to the water. In his final project of a summer tree Matthew teaches you how to create a realistic tree by stippling and removing colour to reveal highlights.
