How to Draw Lifelike Portraits from Photographs Book with Lee Hammond
- Product Info
-
By starting from an image that's already two-dimensional, Lee Hammond shows you how to concentrate on the process of drawing, rather than trying to master perspective while you're still struggling with the basics.
Although this is a book largely aimed at the beginner, it progresses from simple principles through all the facial details - hair, eyes, ears, nose, mouth - in a series of fully-illustrated step-by-step demonstrations that will enable you to become proficient in capturing a genuine likeness. To do this in just 160 pages is quite an achievement and Lee also includes a good variety of facial types, male and female as well as children.
This edition also includes a 24 minute DVD featuring Lee's pencil blending technique.
Book & DVD: North Light . Paperback . 160 pages . Black & White throughout
