If you have just one learning tool - let this be it!
An amazing set of short DVD's, offering priceless tuition and incredible value!
Geoff Kersey takes us back to basics, teaching, in his inimitable style, the powerfully simple lessons that we should all learn if we really want to create great watercolour paintings.
Through a series of short demonstrations, he unfolds the secrets to getting those basics right!
His first lesson uses just one colour and one brush to take you from blank page to successful composition, using simple washes, wet in wet and dry brushwork building skills and confidence as you progress. Through Lessons 2, 3 and 4 he introduces two more paints and brushes, and, step by step, you will discover the art of successful colour mixing, creating perspectives, effective brushwork for textures and detailing and how to work with light and shade.
Lesson 5 builds on the skills learnt in lessons 1 to 4 and demonstrates in detail how to create stunning winter trees in simple winter landscapes. Lesson 6 brings together all the techniques you've learnt for wet in wet, dry brushwork, colour mixing, composition, perspectives and the use of light, shadows and texture - and culminates in a beautiful finished piece of art that you will be so proud of.
Ideal for beginners wishing to learn the basics of good watercolour painting - but also very useful for anyone wishing to improve.
