In this course, Geoff takes us back to basics, teaching, in his inimitable style, the powerfully simple lessons that we should all learn if we really want to create great watercolour paintings. Through a series of short demonstrations, he unfolds the secrets to getting those basics right!
His first lesson uses just one colour and one brush to take you from blank page to successful composition, using simple washes, wet-in-wet and dry brushwork building skills and confidence as you progress. Lesson 6 brings together all the techniques you've learnt for wet-in-wet, dry brushwork, colour mixing, composition, perspectives and the use of light, shadows and texture - and culminates in a beautiful finished piece of art that you will be so proud of.
