Pitt Pastel Pencils ideally complement a set of soft pastels but are equally good as a medium used on their own. They give bright olours and also go a long way - without any of the mess associated with chalk pastels. The tough leads feel soft and smooth to use, and the drawings can be wiped like ordinary pastel paintings.

Faber-Castell Pitt Pastels Pencils are high quality and have extra thick artists' pastel leads (4.3mm) which have surpassed light fastness. They can be wiped with a finger, paper wiper or blender to get the best blending effects.
