From Pencil to ink in just one wash! Derwent Inktense combines the brilliant intensity of pen and ink with the versatility of line and wash. Due to popular demand Derwent has now introduced a wider range of colours so Inktense now comes in a choice of 71 jewel-like colours, plus a non soluble outliner which allows you to draw outlines which are permanent, even when water is applied. Apply pure, vibrant dry colour then wash the pigment out completely to leave a translucent ink-like effect. Once dry, the colour is permanent and can be worked over with other media. Derwent Inktense pencils are incredibly versatile and can be used to create a diverse range of art from traditional watercolours to stunning botanical illustrations.
