I started my career after graduating in the UK with a degree in Fine Art, at the time specialising in sculpture. I went on to work for various organisations within the art world. Painting and illustrating for BBC children's television, the National Trust, wildlife and conservation organisations, city councils as well as the private sector.
I then began a period of international travel, living, working and exhibiting in Israel, China, Europe and ending up in Norway where my teaching career had taken me to the Art Department at the International School, Stavanger.
With my family of five children I returned to the UK where I expanded my own art and design company completing large public works, murals and working on many smaller design projects.
Throughout this time I continued to develop my illustration career and became a BBC Blast featured artist. I had several exhibitions of my paintings and taught life drawing. I have also been a featured artist in magazines and publications as wide spread as Japan and the UK.
In 2004 I relocated to Brittany in northern France where I ran a center for painting holidays. In 2008 I returned to the UK back to Cornwall where I now live. I sell my work online to collectors worldwide and I exhibit at Beside The Wave Gallery in Falmouth. I also illustrate books and teach painting.
