David Webb is a professional artist who specialises in watercolour. He divides his time between painting, writing and tutoring. His subject matter includes landscape, still life and wildlife. His first book â€“ Still Life in Watercolour â€“ was published in 2003 by Search Press. Animal Painting Workbook, published by David & Charles, was his second book published in 2007. He has also made a DVD/video on Still Life for Teaching Art. A Professional Associate of the Society for All Artists, David tutors workshops and residential courses, and also demonstrates to art societies. The emphasis of his teaching is centred on composition, sound drawing, tones, using a limited palette and simplifying subjects.
