Tony Broadbent is a professional artist who specialises mainly in Oils and Abstract paintings as well as the odd large traditional Landscape. His pieces are recognisable by the bold vibrancy of colour used in conjunction with calm imagery or opposing structure.

I teach on a one to one basis, usually voluntarily to those who wish to discover the freedom of Abstract Expressionism and want to know just how to get started - I enjoy removing the barriers.
The most important one was coming second in a Poster Design competition at School at the age of five....thats not intended to denegrate all the other acheivements and awards I have received...people are so touchy these days! but introduce Art to a child and let them discover a world of imagination and control as well as fantasy and you introduce a new person to a whole new way of looking at the world, which they will never forget.
Thats the real importance of that award.
