I tend now to teach all the time at one of my art groups, which is an absolute pleasure, especially when you see the joy of the pupil when they realise that their work has improved, and they start tackling more difficult subjects. I was never trained as an art teacher, and my only claim to fame, in my working life was that I had trained a great many trainee engineers in the art of inspection. When it comes to art however, I can offer to teach it simply, with simple subjects, that give instant gratification. Unless ofcourse the idividual or group, require a more difficult subject. After any demonstration, the piece will be given to the idividual or group to do as they please. If it is not finished then I will finish it for them, so that they can have it later. I'm here basically to pass on my knowledge and to encorouge others to paint.
The best way to find out about me is to visit my web sites: www.artpainter.co.uk and www.nevermindthemonet.com. When I teach or demonstrate I do my best to keep it simple, and try to make it FUN, and I promise I won't show my legs. Sorry about the portrait photo, if it hadn't been for the adult waterwings I would have drowned! (perhaps, you say, that may have been a good thing!!)
I have been in many exhibitions over the years, what else can I say. Oh yes, the exhibition does not make the artist!
Recently I have won 3 awards on the internet, however in the past I have also been sucessful, but I do tend to forget, because it's not what I have won, but what I will win.
