Tuition

Susan teaches regular workshops and courses for many Art Societies throughout North Yorkshire. She has been invited to teach 2 summer weekends at Gayle Mill near Hawes in the Yorkshire Dales in June & September 2008. Susamn has led painting holidays in Greece & Spain and has a regular engagemant as Art Tutor at the annual Marlborough College Summer School in Wiltshire.

Biography

Susan graduated from Harrow Art College London with a BA in Art & Design, her professional career was primarily concerned with illustration for publishing and advertising. Susan moved to the north of England in the late 80's and obtained a PGCE Teaching Degree in Art Education. Susan now has a beautiful studio in a rural location where she paints commissions and tutors workshops and exhibits her work.



 

Exhibitions

2013 will be a busy year for Susan.
her first exhibition will be held at the Yorkshire Arboretum Castle Howard from 19th to 28th April. This will be showcasing Susan's work as Artist in Residence at the Arboretum. Opening hours will be daily 10am to 4pm.

In July Susan is part of an exhibition to be held at The North York Moors Centre, Danby in their 'Inspired By' Gallery. This is an exhibition showing work baseed on a theme of 'Summer' in an around the North York Moors. The dates of the exhibition are 12th to 31st July. Opening hours will be daily 10am to 5pm.
