A three year City & Guild Creative Study course developed my appreciation of colour, texture, shape, form and pattern, while teaching me to experiment with all types of medium.
Although unexpected, my studies for a Bachelor of Science degree, gave great inspiration for my art work. Patterns and order from chemistry, shape and form from life on earth and a diversity of colour and movement from the universe. It is from this inspiration that my art work has developed.
At present I work mainly in acrylic, encaustic wax and oils. A particular favourite is encaustic waxes which produce unique forms that have a brilliance of colour.
My work is exhibited through out Berkshire and Hampshire.
