Biography
Carole Baker RBSA was born in 1965 in Lichfield, Staffordshire.

She works as a Professional Artist from her studio in Chase Terrace, Staffordshire. She attended Matthew Boulton College and later studied at Lichfield School of Art. She was elected full member of Royal Birmingham Society of Artists in April 2008.

Inspired by the landscape, bold, vibrant colour and texture fascinate her and she strives to create exciting and evocative paintings. She paints in acrylics and mixed media. Always looking for new ways to work, Carole believes this is a great cure for boredom and allows her to be more expressive.

Carole sees the use of sketches and photographs taken on location as a starting point only... tending to paint the way she feels about the subject as opposed to copying literally, giving her the chance to put her personal stamp on the subject. For Carole painting comes from the heart and it is something she is highly passionate about.
