Biography

Born in Worcestershire Sara Hayward studied at the Ruskin School of Drawing and Fine Art, Oxford University, and the Royal College of Art, London.

She has exhibited extensively in the UK, and abroad in Kansas, USA, Helsinki, Finland.

The "Worcester Etchings", inspired by her time as artist in resident at Worcester Porcelain Museum, and Rembrandt's mark making, remain on permanent dsplay at the Museum.

2005 Exhibitor, The Mall Galleries, London. Sunday Times Singer Fiedlander Watercolour Exhibition

2006-7 AA2A Artist in Residence at the University of Worcester. An exhibition of printmaking work produced at UW will be shown at the GraduArt show, UW, in June 2007.

2007 Leverhulme Trust Artist in Residence Award: Worcester Porcelain Museum. Sara will produce a body of work (drawings, paintings, prints and video) based on both the former workers of Royal Worcester, and the extensive ceramics collection of the Porcelain Museum. An exhibition of this Residency will take place in 2008.
