Rose believes that art can benefit and enrich the lives of everyone.
As a painter the work she paints is either traditional, semi abstract or abstract. As a printmaker Rose will design the plates, which will become part of the process involved in making the finished piece of work.
The inspiration for her work comes from nature. The images depict the landscape, the reproduction of life and memories. Her choice of paint medium is varied, watercolor, acrylic and oil and so is the subject matter as you can see from the work in the gallery (click the button to see the gallery images).
Rose finds colour an importation part of painting. It is the colours that will depict the mood, energy and the subtleties of the painting. Her work evolves and changes from the initial thought process though to its natural conclusion the finished painting.
Rose finds that painting is not only a great stress reliever from a modern day world but it allows us a new lease of life that makes us aware of our surrounding.
