I teach watercolour, oil painting and I focus on drawing skills. I usually do demonstrations and give out handouts on colour mixing etc, focusing on different subjects throughout the term.I like to encourage a persons individual style whilst developing an understanding of techniques and why a painting works. Beginners are always welcome to the friendly and relaxed classes and to my painting holidays that I run in Spain and England. Due to pressure of commissions I now only run a Monday class.
Biography
I have always been obsessed with drawing and painting and as a young child I knew that I wanted to work as an artist when I was older. After working as an illustrator for many years I now paint more for my own exhibitions and private commissions and enjoy time out of the studio to teach and encourage others in my passion whether it's for my own classeses or visiting other groups to give demonstrations.
