Trained at Edinburgh College of Art and graduated in Drawing and Painting.
Taught in secondary schools for a number of years before taking a break to raise a family.
Returned to teaching part-time working in Primary Schools as an art specialist.
Invited tutor for SWRI Summer School Ayr 2004 and Autumn in Dumfries 2005.
Judged painting competition for SWRI conference in Oban 2004.
Invited judge again for 2006 competition.
Now national judge for SWRI Art Proficiency tests.
Runs private one-day workshops near Edinburgh and outdoor classes in the local area during summer months.
Buyers include West Lothian Libraries and Sir Malcolm Rifkind
Also paints to commission.
I paint in oil, acrylic and watercolour, mainly realistic but loose in style. I particularly like working outdoors but also love painting portraits in oil.
I am happy to demonstate portraiture, pastels,and almost any other medium.
