Evening classes in life drawing and watercolour.
Loads of research regarding styles and techniques.
Biography
Educated at a Girls grammar school. Excelled in athletics as a sprinter,hurdles etc. Later changed area and could not continue with running at the new school as they specialised in swimming and hockey instead.I was not so good at that.
I was raised without a TV and was resourceful and creative.
I was encouraged in the creative arts
and turned to painting and drawing.
I became a draughtswoman and tracer for the Electricity Board and then the Forestry Commission.
I trained with the Ordnance Survey.
I stayed at home and raised my sons . I didnt launch out as an artist until my sons were settled in their careers.
