Biography

Born and educated in North Devon, I studied Art & Design at North Devon College from 1982-1983.

Using acrylic paints as my primary choice of painting media, I paint mostly coastal scenes, landscapes, rivers, woodlands, architecture and some abstract and fantasy. As an artist, I am often drawn by the aesthetics of a subject and prefer to paint in a naturalistic style, sometimes including considerable detail in my paintings.

I live and work in Barnstaple, North Devon, and I am a member of The North Devon Arts and of the Devon Artist Network. My work is regularly exhibited at Gallery At 500 Feet, Lynton, Docton Court Gallery, Appledore, and at Medina Gallery, Barnstaple.
