Art Workshops
We had a very full (and fragrant) house for the Spring Flowers workshop!
If you were one of the folk who missed out on a place for that one, you may like to book early for this next workshop which also has flowers as a theme. Summer flowers this time, with ideas for trying one flower type using a series of different mediums or tackling a mixed bunch of colourful blooms.

If you would like to sketch in a beautiful coastal location in the company of like-minded people, come and join the workshop at Charmouth on Friday 13 July. This workshop could be entitled "all things beach" as different people will be inspired by different aspects of this amazing environment.

Biography
I trained as a teacher at St Luke's College, Exeter, main subject Art and Design, gaining a B Ed(Hons) in 1979.
Inspiration from my college course and a passion for the westcountry landscape (- I have been privileged to live in Devon for much of my life)prompted me to pursue a painting career alongside teaching.
Some of my paintings are representational, some experimental and expressive. My current favoured mediums are watercolour or collage and acrylic.
I have exhibited my work regularly in group, solo and national shows including the annual exhibitions of The Royal Institute of Painters in Watercolour, The Society of Women Artists and the South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts.
Since 1995, I have shared my passion for drawing and painting by teaching Art Classes and Workshops to adults, initially in Hampshire and now in Devon,Somerset and Dorset.
