Neal Carter
Born in Wolverhampton, 1955. Subsequent to gaining my BA(Hons) Fine Art degree in 1977, and PGCE (Art Education) in 1978 I both taught art and exhibited throughout the Midlands area and South East.
For some twenty years I took a sabbatical from painting to place full energy into performing and producing opera in the Midlands and in Bristol. Upon arrival in Devon I 'retired' from being involved in the Theatre and also left teaching to devote my time and energies to developing my professional interest, as a painter, combining my life now as a Civil Servant and artist.
Being a sole practitioner I exhibit throughout the Torbay area, particularly at the prestigious Coombe Gallery, Dartmouth, The Resaurant Next Door, The Quay, Brixham, Number 11 Art Cafe, Bolton Street, Brixham and at Below Decks, Beacon Quay, Torquay, together with being represented by the National Trust and many outlets specialising in Fine Art artefacts.
Some images are reproduced as Giclee Fine Art limited edition prints of 50/100 and 250, together with cards.
Limpet Studio (my private studio) is open to the public from April-September each Saturday 10am-1pm and Tues & Fri evenings 7pm-9pm, June-Sept. At other times by appointment on 01803 883250.
