Intuitive Birth Art Workshop

This workshop is for you, if you are pregnant and want to get more in touch with your natural inborn ability to give birth.
It is run by me, Lena Chandler I am an ex-midwife, teacher, complementary therapist and artist. I have led workshops in natural birth since 1984 and have made CDs for fertility, pregnancy and birth. We will play the Intuitive Birth CD during the workshop and you get one to take home to use.
The aim is to explore and release any fears and anxieties about pregnancy, birth, motherhood or anything else! Helping you to feel more confident and less worried about the birth and becoming a mother.
We will play with and create personal, inspiring images without any pressure on artistic ability. It will be fun and very beneficial to you.
The cost is £50 including a Intuitive Birth CD and all art material and refreshments. The venue is “Aquarian Studio”, at my house 67 Barnfield Road, Harpenden, Herts. AL5 5TH

Natural Fertility Art Workshop

This workshop is for you, if you are hoping to get pregnant and want to get more in touch with your body, mind and spirit.
It is run by me, Lena Chandler I am an ex-midwife, teacher, complementary therapist and artist. I have led workshops in natural birth since 1984 and have made CDs for fertility, pregnancy and birth. We will play the Moon Flow CD during the workshop and you get one to take home to use.
The aim is to explore and release any fears, anxieties and frustrations about pregnancy, birth, motherhood or anything else! It will help you to feel more confident and less worried while you are waiting for a baby.
We will play with and create personal, inspiring images without any pressure of artistic ability.

Biography

I am mainly self taught with inspiration and advice from several talented painters such as Anne-Marie Harvey, Linda Smith, Sue Dean, Sue Gay, Lars-Goran Abrahamsson, Daniel Zerbst and Fernando Martinez Roselli. I have been a member of Harpenden Arts Club, St Alban's Art Society. I am part of Belchamp St Paul Art Group and SAA. I have exhibited regularly with my local art club and Art on the Common in Harpenden. In 2008 Artistic Mix was created; we are a group of four Hertfordshire artists who inspire, support and critique each other as well as paint and exhibit together. Planned future exhibitions are Open Studios in Hertfordshire as well as in Torrskog, Dalsland, Sweden and Cadaques, Catalunya, Spain.I do commissioned work so please enquire if you are interested. I run art sessions for pregnant women and those who hope to be pregnant. Please contact me if you interested in taking part.
