Lavinia Hamer runs a course at Elmstead Market, Essex for one day a week during the educational year and a half day course at Harwich
Other workshops take place at Watershed Studio, St Osyth, Essex.
These are usually two day courses in subjects relating to watercolour and drawing and take place at intervals through the year

Lavinia is also a popular demonstrator for art groups and clubs. Charges- £150 per day(group), £65 per demonstration

Biography
Lavinia Hamer works principally in Watercolour and Pen and Wash with a strong interest in natural subjects.She began her art training at Falmouth School of Art and took her degree and post-graduate at Chelsea School of Art as well as a post-graduate year in Holland.
As well as exhibiting regularly Lavinia teaches Art courses, demonstrates and runs painting holidays. She has illustrated a number of books and contributed to Art magazines. She has also worked in stained glass.
Currently Lavinia works mainly in East Anglia but maintains strong liks with Cornwall where she also works part of the time.
Exhibitions
Lavinia Hamer has exhibited in numerous group shows.These include the Society of Painters in Watercolour at the Mall Galleries and the Society of Flower painters at the Westminster Gallery.
Others have included the Society of Graphic Artists, the Essex Open, The Cartoon gallery and the Portal gallery.
