Biography
My primary career was that of Psychiatric nurse, but art was always my first love. However, the first career was not wasted, as when I began teaching it soon began evident that painting was an effective balm for the troubled mind.
Over the years I have taught for a charitable organisation and for Adult Education. I now run my own groups, which is very satisfying.
The most frequent comment from a new student is that they were told they were 'rubbish', when doing art at school. I just LOVE to prove that that teacher was wrong!
I work primarily in Watercolours, and love to use other additions such as salt to bring life and spontaneity
to a picture.
