Teaching is my great love. Geographical area is not a problem, because I can tutor or mentor you over distance, using the internet or snail mail, although one to one contact is best, so the closer you live to the sunny seaside in the South of England the better if you are looking for hands on getting in a mess together kinda tuition.
You will find me a patient but directional tutor. Everything in life has to have structure and form and that includes tuition! Together, we will learn about your creativity, how to stretch it to new dimensions, how to look at the great masters and learn from them, we may even go to a gallery together to learn to appreciate a wider range of art.
Aside from individual tuition, I run classes in the Gosport/Fareham area. Please contact me for details, or visit my web page, www.khalo.org and click through to Tuition Overview.
I am also a Tutor for Warsash Art Group, where I tutor courses in 10 week blocks. My mission is help each artist to blossom and grow and develop new potential through knowledge and understanding of various art based disciplines.
Hello, thank you for taking the time to stop by to get to know me a little more. I am a based in the south of Hampshire, bang smack on the Solent. Working from my home studio, I specialise in oils, acrylic, pastels and watercolour paint. I am also a qualified photographer and am also a member of the Royal Photographic Society.
I enjoy teaching, and I love to see individuals recognise and devolop their creativity and there lies my greatest joy, - growth and progress of the individual artist, particulary in children, seeing the joy of an individual starting with a blank canvas and filling that canvas with simple imagination - then producing an individual and original work is superb. I am currently putting together a workshop programme for 2011 as well as working on multi media teaching aids. Please visit my blog at www.khalo.org where you can keep up to date with my work. Please do not hesitate to call or email me with your personal requirements. Please enjoy my gallery. Simply click on each picture and you will get the story behind it.
Art is a continuing journey always, so as well as some older work of traditional subject matter, I have included a wide variety of styles and mediums so that you may get a feel for what I do. I prefer to work in surrealistic style, capturing the energy and essence of my subject. When you are ready to commission your own piece, you can say to me, "a bit like this one or that one",.....I have also given a brief explanation regarding the inspiration behind the picture and the origins of the idea. I personally love to know the story behind a painting, and often return from a gallery to spend hours researching a canvas that has captured my heart. So please enjoy the moments in my life and the passions in my heart that I have chosen to immortalise on canvas, they may give you inspiration for your own commission. I accept all major credit cards, which makes commissioning your own painting all the more affordable! So, if you are considering commissioning a painting please contact me with your telephone number so I may call you, - I always find its good to talk, so to speak, so I look forward to hearing from you when we can discuss your requirements and get all buzzy and excited about whats going to be hanging on your wall!! God Bless and thank you for taking time out to check me out Love and Light Kate xx email me at email@example.com Telephone me on 02392 551928
