I currently paint in watercolour acrylic and oil and tutor small groups mainly in watercolour. My main interests are landscapes,townscapes,seascapes and portraits. My watercolour style is fairly loose, and I enjoy capturing light,essence and mood of a place.When I teach I aim to empower my pupils with the technical knowledge of watercolour,and enthusiasm. I also take a lot of photos, which seem to inspire others to paint, as we can not always paint outside.Having been a primary school teacher for many years,I have adapted readily to teaching adults and enjoy helping them overcome any difficulties with their art work..
