I would like to be able to say I have attended various prestigious colleges & attained an impressive list of art qualifications. I have however spent the last 31 years in the motor Industry as an engineer & drawing has been no more than an enjoyable hobby.
Several years ago my wife encouraged me to enroll on a night school course in order to meet other artists & try watercolour. This led me to approach The Guild of Motoring Artists, who fortunately offered me membership.
I have built a small studio & have been fortunate enough to sell most things I draw or paint, I enjoy commissions which tend to be pencil portraits of loved ones or pets.
My ideal would be to draw and paint full time, however, with a young family and these uncertain times, I am happy not to have to rely solely on my art.
