Biography

I studied General Art & Design at Brighton & Eastbourne. This gave me a basic understanding of various mediums. although I now work primarily in acrylics.

Flowers are a subject I've always loved to paint. I focus mainly on the flowerhead itself, capturing it in a slightly stylistic way, rather than a like-for-like photographic interpretation.

The inspiration for my animal paintings was born from exhibiting at country shows. I wanted to bring a smile to people's faces and give them something a little different to feast their eyes on!They are hugely fun to think up and to watch develop on the canvas, and there's nothing more rewarding than seeing people's reactions to them.

Ultimately, every aspect of my work is inspired by colour.
