I am a professional artist based in South Yorkshire. I specialise in custom animal portraits to commission and original equestrian art. My portraits are highly detailed and I aim to capture the individual character of the animal I am portraying.
I have been working to commission since 1998 and have sold and exhibited my work nationally.
I produce my portraits working from photographs, and if possible combining this with life sketches and study of the subject. I work closely with my clients through every step of the creation process to ensure they are completely satisfied with their commissioned artwork.
I have been involved with horses for over 15 years, and particularly enjoy capturing these wonderful creatures in my original artwork.
I mainly work in the mediums of watercolour, coloured & graphite pencil, but also experiment with acrylics and pen & wash for my original work.
