Biography
mrs Jenny Guy-paint along with me Watercolour Artist
I mostly work in pen
using Eddings pens and Arches paper
I also only work with W&N Watercolour paints as i really like the strength of colour that these give me and Rosmary & co Brushes for the very best Quality brushes that you can buy
( with my Teaching we work with the paper/paints that you have) yet Rosemarys brushes are unbeatable,
I Teach you all Landscape /seascapes wet in wet -in as many diffrent ways of making your Picture Diffrent
you will soon Learn your own way of working that pleases you
I hope to Encourage you to do Art in some way Every day of your life
i do and Lose myself in the work
so much so That my house needs a good clean Ha Ha.. but if it is in you to do Art you must have to do it as and when you feel like it.
I do some times use trace down paper in the first drawing to get the building right before putting the pen work in and the shading.
If you are starting out in this Watercolour painting this is a list of Colours i would start to get in your box -you will not need them all at once
(Saa Paints are very good)i have used them often in my Teaching Classes,
you will need Cobalt & Blue French Ultramarine for a winter or summer sky
Naples Yellow (the only Yellow to put into the sky mix with out it turning Green)Light Red a good mixing Colour-Cadminum Red another good mixer Burnt Sienna (to warm up your painting) Burt Umber (this with French Ultr make intense Darks - Indian Red (mixes with Phthalo Blue makes your Warm Darks) -Alzarin Crimson (a cool Red) Cadmium Yellow Pale (to make your Greens) -Raw Sienna (mixes well to make Greens) Raw Umber (mixes well for Dull Greens) Yellow Ochre (for wet in wet work)

thank you for looking at all my Pictures new ones coming every week so do keep looking at this page
and there is still time to put your name down for my Watercolour Classes
I am not taken on commissioned work at this time as i do so enjoy doing my own ideas.
I have found over the many years that i have worked as an Artist that if you draw or Paint what you realy love than the Picture will shine out from the rest and then people want to buy them.
