Deborah D Cullis
My name is Debbie Cullis, I am originally from Wolverhampton. I moved to the Isle of Lewis, at the end of May 2003.
From a child, I have enjoyed painting and crafts. Eventually, I went on to do a BA degree (Hons) in Art and Education. Since then I have continued to paint and sketch as much as possible.
I joined the Society for All Artists, (SAA) in 1995. I was published in the Members' Gallery three times during Jan, Jul, and Sept. in 2004.
During 2007, I was published in the Members' Gallery, again, three times, in the months of September, November and in Jan of this year.
I re-opened my gallery and coffee shop, in the old kitchen of our Traditional Crofthouse, on 2 April 2007, with a Re-opening. We will be open all year round. Light snacks available.
Open: Mon-Sat 10.00am-6.00pm.
We also run a Bed and Breakfast, called Tigh Na Bruaich, meaning House on the Bank.
I am please to say we are now running Painting Holidays with full board in our B&B and painting tuition to individuals or small groups up to four people.
I like to travel the Hebrides, Skye and mainland Scotland in our Motorhome, painting and drawing, walking in the wild and visiting galleries and craft fairs.
I now sell my work in a number of outlets on the Western Isles and the Isle of Skye.
