Biography

Art is not a career choice, it is a life choice. It is my choice and always will be

I have always enjoyed Art from an early age. I can remember spending most of my childhood just drawing and being inspired to make and design anything and everything! This love of Art has stayed with me and developed and grown and, now, I cannot imagine wanting to do anything else. I have always wanted to work as an art teacher because it has always felt like the right direction for me to take.

I started my studies in art at Oc Bancila High School, National College of Art, Iasi Romania, where I achieved GCSE A levels. I completed a BA in Fine Art at the University of Art 'G.Enescu', Iasi Romania. I found the course very challenging but rewarding as I developed my understanding of art disciplines.

I have completed an MA in Art and Media Practice at the University of Westminster. The two-year course has been very beneficial to me as I feel I have further developed my skills and have gained a greater understanding of different fields of Art and Design. This course has led to my decision to specialise in community art.

Keeping in touch with contemporary art practice is vital for me. I enjoy meeting like-minded people to discuss views, exchange ideas, learn new things and see new exhibitions. I enjoy visiting art galleries and exhibitions. I am particularly interested in figurative portraiture and traditional drawing and painting.

I don't do art because I have to, it is because I want to.I love to teach people art because if they share their talent with other people it might inspire people to share their talents with the world.

Art is a amazing experience and I think everyone should try it.
