Biography
Denis Blandford is Windsor born but currently lives in Bracknell, Berkshire. He spent over 33 years in the graphic design industry, creating illustrations, cartoons as well as graphic design. Alongside his career he taught himself painting and drawing and following redundancy in 2006 made the decision to become a full time artist. Since then, he has sold many paintings, exhibited several times and received notable commissions from the Royal Borough of Windsor & Maidenhead, the Rotary Club, Macdonald Hotels & Resorts and Fullers Brewery.
His career has influenced his broad repertoire of subject matter and his techniques. His style is colourful, cheerful and wherever appropriate, introduces elements of humour.

Teachings
Denis Blandford has written and presented Graphic Design workshops for YTS youngsters at Bracknell Itech.

In March 2009 exhibited at Windsor Career Fair for local schools and College, to assist budding artists and designers in their career development.
Awards
Part of the team who won the National Training Award in 1995. My part was the creation of cartoon characters for the Scottish Prison Service CBT.
